FAQs

Below are some frequently asked questions. If we can answer other questions not listed here, please contact us at Weber85718@Yahoo.com or 719-323-5600.

What type of lessons do you offer?

  • Private lessons: Private lessons for adults and juniors are available with Anthony Weber. Please contact him for availability HERE.  Private lessons cost $70/hour.
  • Groups:  Contact Coach Weber

What you need for a lesson?

You will need a tennis racket, comfortable clothes and we recommend a court shoe (e.g., tennis, basketball, volleyball). It is best that you don’t wear running shoes and don’t forget a water bottle and sunscreen! (We have some junior rackets available to borrow, contact us if your child will need a racket for lessons.)

How do I know what size racket by child needs?

The right size racket can help a junior player a great deal. This doesn’t mean it needs to be expensive, just the right size. This is the basis for the programs we offer developed by the United State Tennis Association – 10 and under tennis. Read more about this program and the equipment.

Where are the Colorado College tennis courts located?

Lessons are held at the Colorado College Athletic Department Tennis Courts, El Pomar Sports Complex, Colorado College, 44 West Cache La Poudre Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. This is right at the bottom of the hill of Cache La Poudre Street (west of Cascade), right near Monument Valley Park. Walk around the bottom of the El Pomar building at the bottom of the hill to the courts (you’ll see the running track).

What are the hours of COS Tennis?

We don’t have a regular office or regular office hours. Our hours greatly depending on the time of year, during the season we are on the court much of the time. Email is best, we can answer your questions anytime of the day (or night)!
